Getting started

Install from Shopify, connect your store, and run your first scan.

1. Install from Shopify

Axeible installs like any Shopify app. From the App Store listing, choose Add app and approve the requested access. We ask for the minimum scope needed to scan your themes, products, and pages — not your customers' personal data.

2. Connect your storefront

On first launch, Axeible detects whether your storefront is a Liquid theme or a headless/custom build. That detection decides which fix lanes are available to you — Liquid themes get all of them; headless stores get audit, monitoring, AI-shopper readiness, and content and guided fixes.

3. Run your first scan

Start with a manual scan of a single URL, or launch a full-site audit. The first audit builds a baseline: every issue is classified by severity, mapped to its WCAG 2.2 criterion, and given an exact location and a how-to-fix guide.

4. Review and decide

Nothing is changed for you automatically. Work through the issues, preview the fixes you want, and apply them — each one snapshotted so you can roll it back. Mark anything you're deliberately not acting on as ignored or a false positive; that decision is remembered and kept out of future scans.

5. Document the effort

When you're ready, generate an accessibility statement and an ACR/VPAT. These describe what was checked and separate automatically verified findings from those that still need human judgement.
